1. Plans for the weekend?

Nothing for tonight (so far), Saturday we are doing volunteer work at our church and then most likely (depending on the weather) go to a preseason minor league baseball game. Sunday-shopping for a raincoat and food shopping.

2. What are you wearing?

Back to cold :( ----long sleeve khaki/beige striped colored shirt, skinny jeans, brown heeled boots

3. With GH celebrating its 50th anniversary, did you or do you ever watch Soap Opera's?

I used to watch As the World Turns (when I was in H.S. only), AMC and GH all the time and thanks to Soap Net I was able to see what I couldn't when I was at work. I have tried to catch the 50th Anniversary of GH but seem to keep missing it as it is on early on Soapnet here (9pm).

Plans for the weekend?

TONIGHT - assembling the girls' new IKEA dresser-- woot good times!  did the tv stand and nightstand last weekend.  tomorrow - day tripping up to our favorite beach town for a late lunch and a women's T-Dance, Sunday - seeing several friends in a production of "Company"

2. What are you wearing? Ashes and sackcloth... no kidding.. black pants, white-vneck Gap Tshirt , bright green v neck sweater, and my reading glasses

3. With GH celebrating its 50th anniversary, did you or do you ever watch Soap Opera's? Was TOTALLY into GH from about 1980 to the late 90s then sort of lost track but it seems like the same old faces are back there again.. I was big into the Robert/Anna/Duke days... I remember skipping a rehearsal, something I have NEVER done since.. to go home after school and watch Luke and Laura get married

I was 10 when they got married and remember being at religion class. My gf's mom actually let us stop for a few minutes and watch it lol.

I wish they would bring back Blackie though. He went to jail when I was in 8th grade and was supposed to be in 2 years. 27 years later......... lol

1. Plans for the weekend?  Yep a mix of sporting events, social stuff, family stuff and yard work.

2. What are you wearing?   Black slacks (I have about 20 pairs I think !) sweater and black shoes.  Really, it's different than yesterday, I promise.

3. With GH celebrating its 50th anniversary, did you or do you ever watch Soap Opera's?  Yes, back in high school I started watching GH (Luke and Laura days with Rick Springfield!), haven't watched it since college though. I do enjoy night time soaps; loved Knots Landing and am currently addicted to Revenge, when I get time to watch.  I also loved the comedy Soap with Billy Crystal!

There's some new movie DH might take the kids to this weekend, I'm just going to hang low, thankfully my school papers are caught up!  Yay!  I'm in blue jeans (what's new? Lol!), a pink long sleeve shirt, socks.  I wasn't a big soap opera fan but can I get away with sharing my mom's daily line-up....  The Today Show then Phil Donohue then Days of Our lives.  The noon hour was a local show called the Bob Braun show, Another World was on sometime in the afternoon too.  She still managed a home, did laundry, ironing and cooked homestyle every single night.

I have a hs school friend whose ex-husband acted on one of the soaps, it was a short stunt and the guy wasn't very marketable outside that, Lol.

Jam-before TV remotes my mom would leave ABC on all day while she was cleaning, cooking, etc so I got used to TEON, AMC, OLTL and GH.

That's funny. David from AMC went to my high school. He graduated a few years after me. I also went to high school with Britney Spear's ex-fiance. lol. All the girls had crushes on him and I still remember the last time I saw him at school and laugh every time I would see pictures of them together as it just seemed surreal lol.

Yes, I remember that name. OLTL wasn't one of my "have to see" shows though but I still remember a lot of the characters.
