1. When you get heavy rains, do you get floods in your home or on your street?

2. What is your guilty pleasure TV show?

3. Do you light candles at home and what is your favorite scent?

Why do you need EXACT examples?  You are acting today like a person who can't think, or imagine, or extrapolate.  First you can't understand that "I use my phone every hour of the day" doesn't mean  "I use my phone all day every day," and secondly, you can't understand that it is convenient for some people to share calendars for planning purposes.  Neither one of these concepts that you claim to be unable to understand is at all complicated.  Are you OK?

I have already answered you, we do things together and those together things are on our calendar.  You have a family, you can certainly imagine what types of specific activites one does together that you would put on calendards.

It wouldn't be so difficult for you if you would stop and read the posts molly.  You clearly aren't reading the posts based on your responses.  How many times have I told you that nobody said need, yet you keep using that word?  Stop making things difficult and read the posts molly,

So no EXACT examples again? Why are you even bothering?

<<If you don't NEED to do it, then why do you or would you? >>

Because as I told you before (and the cut/pasted it again for you), we do things together, we are a close family and we do things together so we have that type of information on our calendar.  Why are you making this so complicated?

I get that you are a close family. What type of things do you do that you can't just write down on your own calendars at home or on your phone?

<<What type of things are people putting down on their calendars that they just can't talk to the person and put it down on their own? I don't get the syncing thing and sharing calendars.>>

You don't need to get molly, as you were told before.  It's really okay to do stuff different molly, really.

I am well aware people do different things. I am simply asking WHY someone would do it. What are some examples of things?

Yes, it's taken four or five phone calls to even the first three or four people to try to find a free dayte in common, and then when I call the fifth and that date doesn't work, it's back to the drawing board.  Shared calendars would be much less work.  These are the nine or so people I think really must be there for the party.  We will be inviting others, but if they can't make it, it is not a problem.

So all of these people have smartphones and they all use the calendars on them? How do you know that?

If I am doing an invite, I usually either send out ones handwritten, call the people or most often now, do an invite on facebook.

Why on earth do you need exact examples, you can't think of a single thing your family does together that you write in your calendar?  You need my specific details from my life for what reason?

An example of WHAT you would have in your calendar that someone else also does. As PKA has said, this is a regular occurence for her and her parents. As well as Graph saying it is for her and her son and DIL. Not ONE has given me a concrete example of what both what have on their calendar that would be the same THAT they just can't inform the other one so they can add it to their calendar.

Huh?  As I said before, we don't sync our calendars but we share with each other because there are many events that we all attend and sometimes we get together to figure out what days are good for family get togethers.  Where on earth are you getting that we don't write/type the details into our own calendars when we share information?

<<I am well aware people do different things. I am simply asking WHY someone would do it. What are some examples of things?>>

Things that we do together, as I have already told you.  This is a very simple concept, what don't you understand here?

What on earth are you talking about now?  You are taking a very, very simple concept and making it over complicated and difficult, why?

No, I can't think of anything that I can't mention to a family member that they would just write down on their calendar. I have an example. I invited my sister and family for dinner tomorrow. I invited, told a time. She most likely wrote it on her calendar. I don't know as I wouldn't think I would have to share my personal calendar with her as well as share hers with myself for that and other things we might do together.
