1. Pool cover, yes or no? (if you don't have a pool, answer as if you did).

2. What color is your front door?

3. Do you like to shop at thrift stores?

4. How many purses do you own and do any of them violate trademark laws?

5. Your next vacation: Cruise or Disney? (Death is not an option)

Good for you about Vera Bradley, I still have a VB wallet and key chain, I purposely bought these styles that support breast cancer. But I've pretty much passed the bag torch to my teenagers, DD2 will get a VB school bag before the next school year begins.

DD1 got a VB wristlet when she was in 6th grade I think, She has a Vera tote for school now which is what DD2 wants now too. I have this cute keychain of hers, It clips to the handle of my handbag which is nice, I don't have to dig for my keys! Lol!

1. Pool cover, yes or no? (if you don't have a pool, answer as if you did). I don't know anything about pool covers. I would do whatever was practical & safest.

2. What color is your front door? tan

3. Do you like to shop at thrift stores? No

4. How many purses do you own and do any of them violate trademark laws? 5-7, no designer ones or faux designer ones either.

5. Your next vacation: Cruise or Disney? (Death is not an option) Disney

I'm not a huge fan of the current patterns, but found one I like well enough for the new bags. I appreciate the fact that they are machine washable and tend to wear like iron.

I think an Alaskan Cruise would be wonderful -- in the late 1940s early 1950 my mom took a cargo ship from San Francisco to Alaska to see my uncle who was stationed there with the army - she said it was the single coolest thing she ever did as a single woman... and a grand adventure... she talked about Alaska til the day she died.. I would love to see it..

I had a trip on Alaska's inside passage all planned out, including using the mail boats. You can buy a pass and get on and off them at will, or book a room for a night if you are wanting to stay on board, and you eat with the crew. I thought it was going to be a great adventure for all of us, but DH decided he didn't want to go to Alaska that year. The kids and I were horribly disappointed, but that was that. We went somewhere else instead. I still want to do my Alaska trip.

I would like to see Alaska, but not by boat.

For much of Alaska, your only choice is boat or flyover plane. There are huge chunks of Alaska where "you can't get there from here" by road. Same in the Northwest territories of Canada. I'd love to see places in Nunavit, the NW Territory, and the Yukon, as well as getting to Alaska. DH is not so interested. I'm not sure how I am going to make it happen, but I will.....

Your best bet is to take the cruise up, do things in the interior and then leave by plane. Or vise versa, of course. And are you talking about the state ferries?
