I got off work early so am tackling some chores.

What are your least favorite chore?

Which ones do you not mind so much?

<No matter what my work status I have always found cleaning floors to be much easier to do when no one was underfoot. >?

<Just to be contrary here, cleaning with the kids IS doing something with the kids. I think it is good for kids to participate and see how the house is run.>

I suppose it can be.

I've got my dog trained. As soon as he sees me getting out the floor cleaning supplies he runs to my bedroom.

LOL, incredible, different standards indeed...and in the end, it's all about raising competent, responsible children for adulthood.

""please stay off the kitchen floor.." pretty much suffices until it dries, no big deal, shrug. "

It is also no big deal to clean the floors in the morning considering I get up at least 2 hours before the rest of the family. No need to inconvenience anyone else at all.

No, I doncha think anything like that. I was a sahm for quite a few years and I did my cleaning when my dh was at work. The kids were small but one went to school full time during a couple of those years. I usually did errands when child number #2 was in preschool.

Kind of weird to call it a stereotype when that's what I would do if I was a sahm now. And also what it was when I was a sahm in the past.

If I left all my chores for one day, yeah it'd probably take all day--who knows. I don't do it all in one day, I spread it out & do some every day. We do laundry at my house every day, just about. It would be difficult to take my kids to their Saturday dance class if I am busy cleaning and having them clean also. We have family time on Sundays like I said in the previous post. Family time could be cleaning together, but we actually do more pleasant things.

No I don't think it's amazing that you work it all in.
