So I heard a lot of chanting at school yesterday about tomorrow (today) being pay day, Woot!  Ha, That doesn't mean a lot to me but some of those teachers make good money and b/w that and the slip ins about money in a couple threads here I thought a thread would be fun..

How often are you/your DH paid

Do you discuss finances with your children?  To what extent?

Are you a spender or a saver

No, I don't pay HER $20. And she makes way more money than I do. And not all financial planners work on the same payment system.

Very true, I review a variety of investments in my daily work and the fees often vary and some are neogiated on a yearly basis.

We've got different experiences with investments, No biggie. Don't confuse investments with bank products either, If your money is in an account that charges a monthly fee then that's not my experience either.

I see a variety of investment accounts and with the exception of bank products, there is a monthly fee.  Only the simple bank products (money market, checking, savings, etc) don't carry a monthly fee based on balance because the bank isn't actively managing the accounts.
