Ah, ok. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the next rounds of chemo that all goes smoothly!
1. What did you last eat -- a caesar salad with chicken for lunch
2. What is for dinner tonight -- taking my daughter and her best friend to 5 guys and Fries
3. What is the most expensive piece(s) of furniture you own and how long have you had it -- ummmm we have no expensive furniture, we're kind of an IKEA house but I guess probably our sectional sofa which is 3 years old
4. What is your clothing style lots and lots and lots of black and gray
5. What are your weekend plans I have two days of rehearsals, our daughter has a friend over for most of the weekend and they have a theater workshop to go to, and I think we're going out as a family for dinner on Sunday
I love Ikea. And I have found the quality of their stuff to be great. Is your sectional Ikea, Bea? B/c I'm really comtemplating the Ektorp sofa and loveseat and that will require a five hour trip. One way. But washable slipover means I won't want to kill DH for eating on it...which is totally worth a 10 hr drive to me...
On Wednesdays we wear pink.
Sorry, I went to bed before you asked :) A murphy bed is just a pull down wall bed. Since the spare room is also my workout space *and* it's only 7x11, I thought having a pull down bed in there would be more convenient for juggling the dual usage of the room (not having to drag up a bed frame and set up a bed every time I have guests). I like it, but I think given how often I have guests (very rarely), I should have just sucked up the idea of building a bed :)

I have my grandmother's table as well, but it's Ethan Allen from the 90s.
My dd has my childhood bedroom furniture as well. My parents bought it at an antiques store, and I have no idea how old it is.
My mom's really into country style. All of her furniture is really nice oak Amish furniture. She even has dishes with a picture of a farm and little people and farm animals on them.
I have an Ektorp couch, and it's pretty good. The pillows on the back have a tendency to look rumpled, but the washable cover is really nice.
Seriously, it is the washable cover that has me sold on it. ;)

The frame looked pretty sturdy to me when I was putting it together, too.
