That whole show for me as an actor was about costume changes and set pieces... every single one of us in the company had cheat sheets about where we had to be when and what set pieces we had to move and what we had to be wearing... I LOVED being one of the aristocrats in Peron's Latest Flame and moving in tight formation around the stage while the military was moving counter to us singing their half of the song- we weren't allowed to acknowledge each other-- hands down the hardest number I've ever done.

Well, just for three examples, I saw Les Mis in London and loved it. I saw Wicked in Chicago and loved it. I was in Banff this fall for business and loved it so much I took my husband back to see it this summer. Surely that couldn't have been a serious question, Jambles?

Here's a great snippet and explanation of that number

I also love the "Dice are Rolling" which is the game of musical chairs in the stage production as Peron's generals are killed off one by one til Peron rises to power.. that was lost in the movie

I love Evita. I've seen the show hundreds of times. As with most plays, the movie is pure cr@p. It hurts me to hear people who have only seen the movies talk about how much they HATE Evita, A Chorus Line, etc. Go see the play and THEN talk about it. The movies are dreadful and, IMO, comparing them is the same as comparing potato buds to homemade mashed potatoes. They're just not the same thing.

That bothers me too, that and book to movie.

1. What did you last have to eat?

I'm currently snacking on green seedless grapes.

2. What one good thing happened this week?

Got a killer deal at Toys R Us on a dollhouse for DD's birthday.

3. Sun/Clouds or both?

The sky is prettier when there are big puffy clouds floating across it, plus it gives us a break from the sun. So, both.

4. What celebrity would you trade a day for if you could and why?
(Replace celebrity for anyone on this planet if you want).

Michelle Obama

5. Do you call your evening meal dinner or supper?

Dinner, but growing up in New England we called it suppah.

Sorry, I meant Wicked the musical. I saw commercials for it at least two or three times a day which became real bothersome to me, Lol.

I can think of several movies that were a waste of time and money but I can't think of one bad stage show I've paid to see.

I"m sure the repetition is bothersome but at the heart of Wicked is it's a show about friendships, about not making assumptions about people based on their appearance, about honesty, about propoganda... and about the dangers of "crowd mentality"

plus the flying monkeys are HELLA COOL
