I certainly didn't make up the idea of "noble poverty." Because I don't thiink there's anything noble about it. I've been poor. It's no fun at all.

i never heard of noble poverty until you brought it up here, perhaps some clarification is in order.

The only context I can remember using the term "noble poverty" in was way back in a thread some months ago, when I thought people (and I cannot even remember who) was sort of romanticizing poverty, as if there was something noble about being poor.

You've been debating? Now I'm confused

So, what was the debate topic again? Oh yeah, raising humble children.

Maybe we should define what humble means. What traits are we looking for, to determine if our kids are humble, if we are humble? and what are some specific ways we can accomplish that?
