This board has been quite dead this week. We need some fluff :-p

1. How many days do you get off from work per year? How many do you plan to take? Can you roll over any to the next year?

2. Did you go school shopping for your kids yet? (school supplies, school clothes).

3. What color polish do you currently have on your fingernails and toe nails?

4. What are you wearing today?

5. Any plans for the weekend?

1. How many days do you get off from work per year? How many do you plan to take? Can you roll over any to the next year?

24 to do whatever I want. 12 for sick leave (which can be used for the kids). Sick leave rolls over indefinitely. Annual leave only rolls over to a certain point. I usually use most of my annual leave.

ETA: I think I also get 11 holidays per year. A couple more this year because of Robert C. Byrd's death. Oh, and usually the governor gives us an extra day at Christmas as well. And very, very rarely, we have snow days.

2. Did you go school shopping for your kids yet? (school supplies, school clothes).

Nope. DD and DS both need a few more things-- mostly DD though. DS still has lots of hand-me-downs from my nephew. Also, DD has a *recommended* supply list and it's quite extensive. Most of the stuff seems fairly reasonably, although they want alcohol-free hand sanitizer, which I will not buy.

3. What color polish do you currently have on your fingernails and toe nails?

Fire Engine red on my toes, nothing on my fingernails.

4. What are you wearing today?

Jeans and a striped shirt.

5. Any plans for the weekend?

Saturday, I have to go out of town for work. Sunday, we're having lunch at my MIL's house-- DH's uncle and cousin will be in.

I can take off 3 hours per course per semester. Beyond that, if I don't work I don't get paid. They do not roll over. I don't qualify for vacation, sick leave, etc.

2. Did you go school shopping for your kids yet? (school supplies, school clothes).
No, my kids aren't school age.

3. What color polish do you currently have on your fingernails and toe nails?
Not wearing any.

4. What are you wearing today?
Brown slacks and a patterned blouse.

5. Any plans for the weekend?
Tonight and tomorrow: lots of paperwork trying to get all my ducks in order before training begins on Monday.
Sunday: church and trying to relax as much as possible.

Sorry, I just saw this. GAB is Geeky Architect Boy -- a former co-worker with whom I spend the majority of my not-at-work-or-home time.

I'll play.

1. How many days do you get off from work per year? How many do you plan to take? Can you roll over any to the next year? I'm self employed so I can take as much time as I want--barring any deadlines I have to meet. Down side is that I don't get paid for taking them.

2. Did you go school shopping for your kids yet? (school supplies, school clothes). Nope. We get Dylan's books next Friday along with his first packet which will have the supply list for that packet. We'll get a new supply list for every packet--7 in all. Dylan only needs 1-2 pairs of jeans and he'll be good on clothes for now. He'll need a sweatshirt for later in the year when it gets cold.

3. What color polish do you currently have on your fingernails and toe nails? None; I don't wear nail polish.

4. What are you wearing today? What I normally wear--jeans and a knit top; no shoes.

5. Any plans for the weekend? Work; clean the kitchen; continue with the cleaning of Dylan's room in preparation for redecorating.

I'm sorry you find that such a personal question. No need to answer if you do not feel like it. No one else had a problem though. Shrug.
