1) If you were to redo your downstairs guest room and bathroom, what color scheme would you choose? Assume that you have already picked out a tile that is mostly sandy colored with an accent of dark mossy/forest green and a natural cherry vanity.

2) What is for dinner tonight?

3) So far, what was the most fun child stage (when was it the most fun to be the parent)?

4) Mommy Brags here- was is super special about each of your children?

5) What is your super power?

6) In how many states/countries have you lived?

7) Dream time, you have four weeks to go anywhere with anyone. Where do you go and with whom?

Well, she should have asked earlier; I just spent Monday through Wednesday with a Nicoise-style salad using shrimp instead of tuna. :P

I don't have a guest room or guest bathroom (dd's room subs as a guest room and the kids' bathroom is the guest bathroom!). However, it's hard to say with your specifics w/o seeing the tile. Though green is my favorite color, I don't really like dark green. I'd probably stick with the other suggestions and stay with a beige/brown neutral color scheme. Actually, I just realized that I have chairs in my living/dining room that have dark green and mossy green stripes and a bit of gold. My walls are Sherwin Williams Humble Gold and they look very nice with the green. My dining furniture is rosewood, so similar to cherry. But I'd really have to see pictures to suggest color scheme!

2) What is for dinner tonight?

I'm not sure. We leave for vacation tomorrow. MIL arrives at the airport around 4:30, so we may just go out to eat rather than try to make a nice meal while trying to prepare for our trip.

3) So far, what was the most fun child stage (when was it the most fun to be the parent)?

I think each stage has its own fun. Infants are cute around 9 months when they are more mobile and interactive. And then as they age and start walking/talking that's cute too. My kids are spread out at ages 5, 7, 9 and 11 and I can honestly say, that there are things I enjoy about each of the things they do/say/etc.

4) Mommy Brags here- was is super special about each of your children?

My oldest dd is very compassionate and loving, a good friend. Ds9 is a natural athlete who is internally motivated as well as an all-around nice kid, ds7 is somewhat shy but very sweet and helpful, loves giving me "morning hugs" every day, dd5 has the brightest smile and is always smiling. People are constantly telling me that looking at her instantly cheers them up b/c she always has a smile on her face.

5) What is your super power?

Being able to get four kids to four different places at the same time and keeping track of their schedules

6) In how many states/countries have you lived?

I have lived in four states: Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and Hawaii. I have lived in two countries: the US and Italy.

7) Dream time, you have four weeks to go anywhere with anyone. Where do you go and with whom?

Hmmm. I'd go with dh. We'd go to Africa and possibly Australia if we had time. Second choice, I'd go to South America.

I'm a fan of burnt orange and brown.

2) What is for dinner tonight?
Rice and beans

3) So far, what was the most fun child stage (when was it the most fun to be the parent)?
I'm enjoying the preschool years so far. :-)

4) Mommy Brags here- was is super special about each of your children?
My 2-year-old knows all his uppercase and lowercase letters and letter sounds, and my 1-year-old has an appetite to rival a grown man, LOL.

5) What is your super power?
I have the same amount of enthusiasm as my kids.

6) In how many states/countries have you lived?
Four states, 1 country (unless you count studying abroad as living there)

7) Dream time, you have four weeks to go anywhere with anyone. Where do you go and with whom?
Caribbean cruise with my husband.

Something in the brown/tan realm I guess.

2) What is for dinner tonight?

I don't know yet, have to ask dh. I am trying to stick with mostly raw veggies plus a little meat or eggs for now so depending on what he makes, I may have to make myself a separate meal.

3) So far, what was the most fun child stage (when was it the most fun to be the parent)?

Good question. I loved the little baby stage, like a few months old but not crawling yet. And with ODD I loved ages 4-5 because we could do so much but she was still so little and sweet. I like the 3 yo stage the twins are in right now because they are learning so much and able to express themselves so well all the sudden.

4) Mommy Brags here- was is super special about each of your children?

Can I include skids? OSS is very smart and takes his responsibilities seriously like 80% of the time, which I think is good for 16 yo, and he's super helpful whenever you express a need for his help. MSS is very sociable and reads people really well, it's interesting to hear his take on things, plus he's super helpful as well. YSS has a tough exterior but is not afraid to let his emotions show, he's smart and is very fair minded. ODD is incredibly artistic and outgoing, and way more capable that she ever wants you to know. YDD has the best sense of humor I've ever seen a 3 yo have and is always surprising me with how smart she is, and she's very daring and adventurous which is fun to watch. DS is very sweet and if he's getting his needs met is the happiest 3 yo you could imagine, I like that he is the opposite of his twin in that where she is daring he is cautious, I think that will serve him well in life.

5) What is your super power?

Not going crazy being a wife, mom and stepmom with 6 kids, being home during the day and being in graduate school. I just hope I can keep it up as I start my internship.

6) In how many states/countries have you lived?

I've only lived in the US but I've lived in 5 states.

7) Dream time, you have four weeks to go anywhere with anyone. Where do you go and with whom?

Dh and the kids, and if money is no object then we bring my parents, my sister and her kids, and dh's dad. I think somewhere out of the country that I've never been but that leaves a lot of options open. I'd like to be surprised I think.

1) Your color scheme is similar to one of our bathrooms. Natural cherry cabinets and vanity, sand-colored tiles, forest/moss green granite, sea green glass mixed in with the tiles in the shower. Don't know if this would work for you, but we painted the walls "Pirate's Cove Beach." Think it was Benjamin Moore paint; in any case, it's a light muddy peach. Sounds ghastly, but it's really neutral. We use green, brown or boring beige towels.

2) Dinner is thrilling because a) I have time to cook tonight and b) we joined a fabulous CSA so have lots of great veggies to work with. I might do a chard frittata, maybe a carrot pudding, and will barbecue chicken for those who eat meat. The only thing we didn't get this week is salad greens, which I miss!

3) So far, what was the most fun child stage (when was it the most fun to be the parent)?
