2. What's for dinner?

3.  Weekend plans?

4. If you went to college, what was your most favorite course? And was that course related to your major?

5. March Madness. Even though the brackets haven't been drawn, any predictions for the Final Four or other thoughts?

>1. What's the most recent concert you've been to?

Bob Seger

Any upcoming concert plans?  What has been your favorite concert?

No.   Bob Seger of course.  Kind of a rule if you grew up in Michigan you are a Seger fan.

2. What's for dinner?

Bean and cheese enchiladas.

>3.  Weekend plans?

May go see Lincoln I have heard mixed reviews on it so I was waiting for it to come to the discount theatre so see it.  Rather spend $2 than $8 on something I may not like.

4. If you went to college, what was your most favorite course? And was that course related to your major?</

N/A

5. March Madness. Even though the brackets haven't been drawn, any predictions for the Final Four or other thoughts?</p>[/quote]

No idea,  Basketball is one sport that no one in my family has ever had an interest in.

I don't really follow NCAA men's basketball, but I do fill in the brackets because I have won a few times by happenstance, not knowledge or fandom. I actually have no idea who's good this year but Duke, Kansas, Michigan and usually Kentucky are always good. Kentucky sux this year and Gonzanga is #1, so those are my choices. Bring it on tournament, I'm ready to kick the real sports fans butt and take the money (won 1K last year).

1. What's the most recent concert you've been to?  Any upcoming concert plans?  What has been your favorite concert?  Last concert I went to was Katy Perry. I took my dd and two of her friends.  It was at a local college and tickets were only $35 so it was a no brainer.  I actually really enjoyed it even though I wouldn't have said I was a Katy fan before that.  She was very engaging with the audience and given the small arena, it was a great concert venue.  That said, I'm totally not a concert goer.  I refuse to pay those ridiculous ticket prices.

2. What's for dinner?  Not sure, but it won't include meat.  We were thinking about treating the kids to a nice dinner out since they all did very well on their report cards, but not being able to eat meat would limit their choices so we'll probably save that for another night.  I'll probably just do pasta with shrimp.

3.  Weekend plans?  For the first time in months, we have no sports tomorrow!  A day off!  Tomorrow night we are going to a St. Patrick's Day party a friend is having.  Sunday, I have to drive ds to Philly for a three game lacrosse tournament. It's at least a 2 hr drive each way, lucky me.  He was offered a ride with a teammate but he really wants me to go (teammate/friend has not been nice to him lately).  Dh is off the hook b/c dd has a lacrosse tournament here at home and he is her coach.  So yep, I get to spend St. Paddy's Day on the road.  Which puts me back to tomorrow - making a Guinness and Beef Pie and a pistachio cake so that dinner will be ready for us when we get home.  All dh has to do is put the pie in the oven.

4. If you went to college, what was your most favorite course? And was that course related to your major?  Middle Eastern Politics (that may not have been the course title but that was the content).  Yes, it was related to my major (poly sci).  The teacher was awesome and the course really opened my eyes up to the history of that region.

5. March Madness. Even though the brackets haven't been drawn, any predictions for the Final Four or other thoughts? Wow, is it that time already?  I'm sure my boys have predictions but I never really get into until about the Sweet Sixteen.

My cousin is a Methodist minister and I think she also did her seminary training at Duke.  She lives in NC still.

1. What's the most recent concert you've been to?  Any upcoming concert plans?  What has been your favorite concert?

The Wiggles? Circa 2003? Seriously. My favorite was Fleetwood Mac in 1997 or 1998.

2. What's for dinner?

Veggie soup, chicken noodle soup, crusty bread, salad w/Puss's apricot jam dressing & brownies.

3.  Weekend plans?

Bunco tonight. Tomorrow have visitation and funeral for friend who lost her father this week. Church Sunday.

4. If you went to college, what was your most favorite course? And was that course related to your major?

Entrepreneurship or Salesmanship. They were related to my business major. I can't pick a fav grad school class, ask again in a few years! :)

5. March Madness. Even though the brackets haven't been drawn, any predictions for the Final Four or other thoughts?

I don't do March Madness. I have no idea.

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

1. What's the most recent concert you've been to?  Any upcoming concert plans?  What has been your favorite concert?

My son's at the local coffee house. He plays once a month. We just purchased tickets for an all Mozart concert by BSO in Tanglewood in July. Best ever - Bob Marley in Lenox on a gorgeous summer day right before he was diagnosed with brain cancer.

2. What's for dinner?

No clue - I'm not even sure who will be home tonight and my oldest son had his 4 wisdom teeth out yesterday, so whatever it is, it must soft. I'm thinking ice cream for dinner

3.  Weekend plans?

Doing Fed and State taxes and working on a project that needs to be complete Monday am

4. If you went to college, what was your most favorite course? And was that course related to your major?

I took an awesome Modern Astrophysics course recently for pleasure.

5. March Madness. Even though the brackets haven't been drawn, any predictions for the Final Four or other thoughts?

Duke, Michican, Kansas, Gonzaga.

1. What's the most recent concert you've been to?  Any upcoming concert plans?  What has been your favorite concert?

It's been awhile since I have been to a concert. Probably my son's orchestra concert last spring.  My favorite concert of all time?  Probably Joan Baez with my sister, many years ago at the Hollywood Bowl.

2. What's for dinner?
Fajitas with whole wheat tortillas, flank steak, grilled peppers and onions, and the world's easiest cilantro sauce:  A bunch of cilantro, two tablespoons of sour cream, and a jar of good quality salsa (or homemade if you are up for it) pulsed in the blender until the cilantro is all chopped.  Everybody likes it, even Vegetarian Boy.

3.  Weekend plans?  Cleaning house, and if the weather stays nice, beginning spring yard work.

4. If you went to college, what was your most favorite course? And was that course related to your major?  Okay, you are asking me to go back a very long way!  I have a few memories of outstanding courses.  A historical linguistics course.  I was double majoring at the time in History and Linguistics.  A history professor (Edwin A. Gaustad) whose lectures on early American religious history were so good that I ended up taking something like four of his courses even though I only needed one.  Ended up with an undergraduate minor in the History of Religion that helped me decide my graduate emphasis.   I actually really loved my "Physics for Poets" class -- that wasn't the real name for it, it was sort of physics light -- and still remember things I learned in that class that have come in handy as my younger son has had this fascination with human spaceflight for the last decade or so.  In graduate school, every seminar I took in the history department was more fascinating than the last.

5. March Madness. Even though the brackets haven't been drawn, any predictions for the Final Four or other thoughts?  Thanks for reminding.  Last year I was one step ahead of the law in breaking up an illegal gambling ring my son organized.  I'd better get my vigilance on.  That boy isn't the kind to give up after one try.  The other thing is that my pastor did her seminary training at Duke, and as soon as March Madness starts, every sermon gets back to the tournament somehow.  It gets tiresome.

1. What's the most recent concert you've been to?  Any upcoming concert plans?  What has been your favorite concert?

It's been years ago now-- Red Hot Chili Peppers when DD was a baby.  We were supposed to go to a Walk Off the Earth concert, but Hurricane Sandy stopped that from happening.  :(

2. What's for dinner?

I think DH is making roast beef hash?

3.  Weekend plans?

None that I know of.

4. If you went to college, what was your most favorite course? And was that course related to your major?

Probably one of my German history classes.  It was related to my majors.

5. March Madness. Even though the brackets haven't been drawn, any predictions for the Final Four or other thoughts?

Go Mountaineers?
