2.   Do you have the sie family you planned/wanted?

3.  Do you/do you plan to color your hair or let it go naturally gray?

"This was to Bord." So, it's okay to insult Brd? Why do you think it's okay to try and devalue a woman based on her looks? Bord is a beautiful woman, and she's smart and kind too. She's the total package, and she doesn't have to spend a fortune to *try* and acheive it.

"I wouldn't either if I didn't have a deadline when I wanted longer hair." You're kidding, right?

Nope

The irony of this attempt to shame a woman who is more beautiful effortlessly than those who spend way more time on the interwebz impressing us with her devotion to "beauty" but who at best, can manage "middle aged average" is HI. LAR. I. OUS. (And I say this as one who does well to manage middle aged average myself).

Rollmops isn't just above average. She's drop dead gorgeous, with an effortless style.  And she's kind.  And no amount of hair extensions will ever help those lacking basic human decency.

This was to Bord. Shrug.

Exactly. My sister grew her hair from a pixie to shoulder length while on air. Without extensions. And her livelihood depends on her appearance. Extensions for a "special occasion" are utterly asinine. Get a blowout.

To you maybe. Do you have the same hair stylist as your sister?

as I am sure you DO find extensions ridiculous from your comment). You are not into beauty. Shrug." ------------ To an awful lot of people, extensions do not equal "beauty," but instead make people think of Jersey Shore or some of the deranged women on those dreadful "Housewives of ..." shows.

Stereotype is all that is and maybe if you knew REAL people with them you would see they are NOTHING like that and "regular, normal" people have them. Many of them because of the thinness of their hair to fill it in. You do realize A LOT of black women have ALWAYS had them too, right?

Only in my wildest dreams would I ever be as pulled together, glamorous and fashionable as Rollmops is.. true style that she makes seem so effortless... I'm pretty much as peace with my amazonian awkwardness but every once in a while I do wish I could be as gorgeous as she is..

She didn't put down women that want to have hair while battling cancer. That's all in your imagination.

"One good thing about chemo is that it teaches you to get over completely silly things like that. Once you have knocked them dead with a bald head, fretting over hair, its length, its color etc., seems rather stupid." YES
