2. Weekend Plans?

3. Have you decorated for the holidays yet?

You would have thought my ds and I were nuts then as 2 weekends ago we went to go see our high school team play in the division finals. It was freezing. The winds were 30-40mph so it felt like zero degrees. We bundled up though and it was totally worth it since they won that and the championship game the following weekend (which was a little warmer, in the 30's and no wind). </span></strong></span></p>

The Girl and I went to a UNT game last weekend and it was 35ish with a wind chill of about 15. We stayed only through halftime - just long enough to see the UNT and the UTSA bands.

<<2. Weekend Plans? -- Some christmas shopping is about the only thing out of the ordinary.  The biggest football game of the season for us is tomorrow, so we'll keep the game on the tv (I think anyone that actually goes is nuts - it's supposed to be about 15 degrees with a wind chill of 5 at kickoff!). >>

Ha!  About a month ago I went to a football game in driving rain/sleet/snow and freezing temperatures.

Turkeys are a new world bird; I guess some of them might have tried some in Vinland, though.  I am thinking maybe a berry tart.

My son wanted to leave in the first 3 minutes of the game. I convinced him to stay and once he got some food and the sun came out, he was happy and so glad that we stayed. lol.

Lauren, if you have a new cat, you just have to put up a cat proof tree. Basically, you hang all the ornaments out of the cat's reach, so the bottom half of your tree is undecorated. If kitty is a climber, don't hang the breakable ornaments this year. The tree will look kinda hideous, but at least you can have one.

He's not really new...he was fine with the tree last year, but he is way more insane this year than last.LOL  Considering all the things he does to our regular stuff, I'm not sure he's trustworthy around a tree anymore.  He also has that Maine Coon tendency to freak out over anything new that comes into the house (Joel got a new wheelchair brake a few months ago...we're talking about a 3-inch piece of plastic...and MacIntosh growled at it and needed mama time for days) I'm pretty sure a Christmas tree would give him a nervous breakdown.  Or if not him, me.  ;)

There was sun at your game? lol   We were too cold to eat.   We went back to the hotel and thawed out.

Christmas Tree Festival at high school, putting up our own tree and decorations, food shopping and of course, football

The city had their tree lighting ceremony the Saturday after Thanksgiving, always love this and the parade.  I can't wait to see your annual Christmas tree pic on fb!
