The Girl and I went to a UNT game last weekend and it was 35ish with a wind chill of about 15. We stayed only through halftime - just long enough to see the UNT and the UTSA bands.

My son wanted to leave in the first 3 minutes of the game. I convinced him to stay and once he got some food and the sun came out, he was happy and so glad that we stayed. lol.

Turkeys are a new world bird; I guess some of them might have tried some in Vinland, though.  I am thinking maybe a berry tart.

<<2. Ha!  About a month ago I went to a football game in driving rain/sleet/snow and freezing temperatures.

1. Have you been hit by the bad weather in your area? -- Yes. The University and public schools are closed today, so we're all at home.  I, unfortunately, will be doing some work. But we'll find time to watch some movies, etc.

2. Weekend Plans? -- Some christmas shopping is about the only thing out of the ordinary.  The biggest football game of the season for us is tomorrow, so we'll keep the game on the tv (I think anyone that actually goes is nuts - it's supposed to be about 15 degrees with a wind chill of 5 at kickoff!).

3. Have you decorated for the holidays yet? -- No. Well, the lights on the roofline of the house are up - we did that a few weeks ago when we had a gorgeous weekend.  We plan to put up the tree today.  But won't get to teh rest of the outside decorations until at leasdt next weekend, as we're not supposed to be above freezing until Thursday.

1. Have you been hit by the bad weather in your area?

Not yet.  We're supposed to be getting ice on Sunday.

2. Weekend Plans?

An ornament exchange party on Saturday; taking Joel to re-trace my elementary school bus route on Saturday morning (this was rescheduled from Sunday...see question #1).  While out there, also going to locate a church that I have to go to later in the month.  I have directions, but it's been 35 years since I've been out that way, and I want to see what's still there and what's not.  Would like to do a mani/pedi on Sunday, but not planning anything for sure until we see what the weather does.  Around here, a day with a forecast for an ice storm could actually end up being 80 degrees and sunny.

3. Have you decorated for the holidays yet?

No.  Might do some this weekend.  Still on the fence about the wisdom of putting up a tree when SuperCat is flying all over the place all the time.

1.  Kinda sorta.  Snow, but roads were okay.

2.  Yes.  Sporting events, two parties and church events.

3.  Outside yes, inside no.
