{{what does your poster name mean?}} I have green eyes, and the current year is 2013.
{{what is your favorite room in your house?}} The family room.
{{what is your favorite sandwich?}} It's a toss-up between MA and IL. I've never been to the one in Kent but I hear it's lovely this time of year.
Shaking my head at the things grown women get their panties in a wad about.
1. There are many Marlas, and I'm another one of them.
2. My favorite room varies depending on level of cleanliness. I love my kitchen when I wake up and it's all clean and tidy, just waiting for something wonderful to be prepared. It's after the meals are finished and I sit completely satisfied that I look at my kitchen and sigh.
3. My favorite sandwich is called, "Not just for Thanksgiving" from the menu at a local winery. It's artisan bread with turkey, cranberry sauce, and brie, run through a panini press. It pairs well with a chilled glass of dry traminette, semi-dry vidal blanc, or a semi-sweet vignoles blend, depending what's in season.
I love my kitchen too. It's relatively large, and completely open (to the breakfast nook, the dining room and the living room). I guess the main living area in our house is what they call a great room. Holidays are wonderful, as the whole family congregates around the islands and/or actually in the kitchen and everyone participates in meal prep and clean up.
But... my master bedroom is amazing. We have three large windows (with a beautiful view), two sky lights, built in book sleves, a five piece bathroom and a walk-in closet the size of a small bedroom. We have set up a nice quiet sitting area, and it's the one place in the house that is completely mine!
Coco, I think we'll go to McDs tonight, Their fish sandwiches are divine!
Interesting, keeping score again. I wonder why?
