1. How long of a lunch do you get at work? Do you also get alloted breaks?

2. What type of toothpaste do you use? Do you only buy that kind?

3. Do you make your bed everyday? Does your kids?

I don't see a fine example for grad students here. But let's remember her department is history not humanities.

I think it's only fair to question time management skills...  Some people have it, others do not.

I just love how the people who claim they have to work weekends because they are so busy now gi to lunch with others with their work. Bawahhhaaa..

What is funny about having a flexible schedule ?

Who said it was funny or laughing. My dh mostly has a flexible schedule. I am very aware of one. I am also aware how some people change their stories for different threads lol.

The comment about the cinnamon wasn't mean.  It was sort of juvenile, but not mean.  The dig at Rollmops was gratuitously mean.  No reason for it, other than pure meanness.  I don't think I am gratuitously mean.

Yeah. Most 50 something year olds are not taking selfies, IME, and especially ones that are professionals.

How was that mean? Even self employed workers cut out certain times of their day to do things. It is not unusual to make a lunch hour, just like when you go to your local dr or dentist and they are closed certain hours for lunch.

It would be fair to question time management skills if there were evidence of a problem.  Absent such evidence, it's just gratuitous meanness.

You are showing your lack of understanding of other people's lives.  I often have a working lunch, sometimes taking a job candidate or potential student to lunch, sometimes getting together with a couple of colleagues to plan a conference or accomplish a task. Sometimes I can do a social lunch during the week.   My workload varies.  It sometimes includes working weekends.  That's the nature of a flexible position.

Where was it said there was NOT a problem? I doubt anyone here would admit that.

you did.  You wrote "lol" after a sentence about people having flexible schedules.  That indicates a laugh.  A laugh usually indicates you find something funny.
