I've made red currant jelly a few times, but I think I'll save our red currants for Rote Grueze this year. It will be something nice and summery in the middle of winter :-)

True. And don't forget the fat. Although some sites I've seen list the cream cheese in with dairy instead of as a fat. But then I don't consider ice cream to be a dairy serving either.

My kids love it and I can get the bigger jar at Costco. AND...it is less calories and fat than butter and cream cheese :)
