What do you like to do for Halloween?

Do you and/or your children wear a costume? If so, do you know what you/they will be this year?

If you have smaller children, do you take them trick-or-treating (or trunk-or-treating)?

Do you pass out treats to trick-or-treaters?

Do you carve jack-o-lanterns?

What are some of your favorite candies/treats?

My favorite pumpkin memory is the year we had a very early hard freeze and all the pumpkns and gourds I had out front all turned to mush overnight. We cleaned up as best we could. The following May we left for three months in Europe, and when we came home we had a pumpkin patch in our front yard. We harvested about a dozen pumpkins and about twice that many gourds that fall.
