Do you think that Halloween costumes should be allowed at schools?

That does sound pretty horrible, but my kids have never attended a school like that. They've been making their own costumes since they were 7.

Out of 4 kids, I have only ever bought 2 costumes.

I WOH and I sew, and I didn't usually buy costumes...but looking back, I don't think that any of them required sewing.

that's too bad, some do enjoy the excitment of it all at school, and our city hosts an annual halloween parade/fest that tehy are finishing up preparing for this weekend, the elementary school used to contribute carved pumpkins for this. that's a shame too..about treats, for as long as i can remember, schools don't allow baked goods from home, only store bought. there might have been one year i was allowed to bake something from home and bring it in, that would have been at least five years ago though!

my kids all went through a winnie the pooh costume, it was probably a size 3 or 4T, i remember not having to change them out of it either, they would just sleep in it, Lol.

i admire that talent, you can pick out in a parade whose costumes are made.

i spend $100.00 a year for my daughter's dance recital costume. i encourage recycling it and wearing it for the next halloween but by the time october gets here that idea kind of falls by the wayside, Lol.

I don't have an issue with them at school, I wore them at school all through my school years.
