1. How's the weather going to be for your Memorial Day weekend?

2. What's for dinner?

3. Do you vote for your school budget? Edited to say, the one that the board of education decides and you go to the polls to vote yes or no each year. If not, why not?

1. How's the weather going to be for your Memorial Day weekend? It's in the 60s now, but should be in the 70s on Sunday and Monday.

2. What's for dinner? Sausage hoagies, I believe.

3. Do you vote for your school budget? If not, why not?  The board of education determines our school system's budget, so I'm not sure I understand what you are asking?

Do you go to the polls to vote yes or no on the impending budget in your school district?

You don't have polls for the tax payers to vote on the school budgets?

No, that's what we elect school board members to do.  There is lots of opportunity for public input.   And any related tax increases, bond issues, etc are voted on by the public.

Sorry, I meant do you vote yes or no on the school budgets that are presented to the public each year. Maybe that is how I should have worked it Smile

I understood your question the second time.  And the answer is still no.  Only the board votes on the budget.

1.  In the 60's & sunny & unlike Spring, I'm happy, lol.  It's a big step up from what it has been.

2.  Spicy Garlic Lime chicken & either potatoes or spinach==cause that's what I have in the house.  I need to go shopping.

3.  Our school board decides our budget and they are the only ones who vote on it.  We don't vote on a budget for our local government either.  Our Municipality has assembly people & they vote on it.  Anyway when we have local elections there are usually special bonds that we vote on if we want bigger projects done, like building new schools or putting a bunch of money into old schools to renovate etc.  I do vote in every election though.
