Very cute!! If I had had a girl, I was going to paint her walls pale yellow and paint butterflies and dragonflies on the wall in sage, lavender and mauve.

FWIW, you could always get solid dark denim comforters for your DS' beds. Griffin has one on his bed and Garrett will get one when he moves out of his crib and into Griff's room. I got them at Linens N Things. Griffin's room has light, sky blue paint on the walls. My friend and I sketched big buildings all around the room above the baseboards. We painted them primary colors. She even painted trees and a couple of rottweilers like our dog. He's got clouds and airplanes in the "sky" all around the room and an airplane shelf and lamp that I'm almost positive my mom got from Lillian Vernon. I've always been please with her stuff.

PS: I love the drawer pulls for your DD's room.

This is the quilt I ordered for DD. http://www.lillianvernon.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&productId=35913&addOn=338

I also ordered the coat tree. I ordered both yellow and purple sheet sets, so she can switch them in and out. I also ordered the applique windo panels to cover the 2-inch blinds on her windows.

From Home Interiors, I ordered these drawer pulls for her armoire and desk. http://www.homeinteriors.com:8086/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=1052980&langId=-1&categoryId=52168&parent_category_rn=52554&source=gogirls I also ordered these shadow boxes from them http://www.homeinteriors.com:8086/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=10000317&langId=-1&categoryId=52168&parent_category_rn=52554&source=gogirls

I think I'm going to paint her walls yellow, with white trim. Her bed is going to be a picket fence bed that I design and my husband makes, as is her desk.

We are also redoing sons room, and it is going to be a sports theme with primary red, blue and yellow as the colors. I haven't decided exactly what color to do the rooms. Either blue walls with white trim or white walls with blue trim. I ordered this coat tree for him http://www.lillianvernon.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&productId=35711&addOn=338 and this laundry basket from them. http://www.lillianvernon.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&productId=12102&addOn=338

From home interiors, I ordered these

http://www.homeinteriors.com:8086/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=1052988&langId=-1&categoryId=52487&parent_category_rn=52554&source=homefield

http://www.homeinteriors.com:8086/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=1053041&langId=-1&categoryId=52487&parent_category_rn=52554&source=homefield

http://www.homeinteriors.com:8086/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=10000305&langId=-1&categoryId=52487&parent_category_rn=52554&source=homefield

He has a bunk bed with a desk and dresser attached that I'm going to replace the knobs on with some kind of sports knobs I have yet to find...not sure what all I am going to do yet.

Yes, i have bought from lillian vernon for us (my family) and gifts for others at christmas when shipping is the easiest thing to do.

I have many of their wooden toys, toy cribs, I bought robes with there initals on em and they have lasted for 3 years and our beach towels that are also with names have held up well all lilian vernon. I have never purchased bedding however give it a try if you dont like it send it back what does it look like? What are your colors?.

Iam re-doing my almost 3 year dd's bed room also and we are considering the picket fence it is so fresh and sweet. I cant seem to decide between that cast iorn bed with the flowing sheers from the bed posts or the picket fence.

:) I ordered them! I figure if they are horrible...well, can't be worse than Walmart, right? And this quilt is something that DD has wanted for a LONG time, and we never found the right one...cheaply made or not. So, I might spend some extra money, but it is the PERFECT quilt for her...and it will have to last at least as long as one from Walmart or the like. :)

I'm soooo excited. When we get home from our trip, I will start painting her room, and building furniture. I'm trying to design the furniture I want now. :) hehehehe...girls are soooo much fun!

I've bought a lot of things from Lilly's Kids, mostly gifts though so while they looked very nice when I bought them, they might have gotten icky without my knowledge. It's also been mostly toys...my niece's name has an irregular spelling so I've ordered some personalized things for her...and I don't think I've ever bought bedding, etc., from the catalog, just the outlet.

As I recall, though, they are very good about returns, so it probably wouldn't hurt to try and see.
