I am going to be going on bed rest do to some troubles with my pregnancy. I work part time and I am not able to this job from home so I need to find something that I can do while I am laid up in bed. We cannot afford to lose my income or we will be in big trouble. I have a degree in Legal Administrative Assistant, so I can do transcription and and any kind of data entry at this point if you tell me to build bird houses I will learn how and do that I am just scared out of my mind what to do. If anyone could send me some ideas that would be great thank you for the help.

First look into if you qualify for any disability assistance, medical assistance, WIC, food stamps, etc. Second, I hate to break it to you but you probably won't find anything to do to earn money while you are laid up simply because it is such short notice and short term. Most (if not all) ah jobs need time to build up. I also don't know many (if any) jobs that can be done lying in bed or on the couch. Third, this is the wrong board to post on asking for help. You will probably have better luck getting advice on the Working from Home Moms board: http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-ppwahm?redirCnt=1

This happened to me when I was pregnant with DS, my DH ended up getting a second job. It sucked, but it was the only way to pay the bills.

Double check with your employer that they don't offer short term disability, some do.
