Sad is when somebody dies, or when you find out you have an incurable illness, or maybe your kid doesn't get into any of the colleges he applied to. Not particularly enjoying an event that is a couple of hours of one day of your life? Too bad, but "sad?, Not so much.

Okay yeah I can see that, but I can also see how interpreting "I didn't enjoy my wedding day" to mean "I didn't enjoy my wedding day" and feeling sad that the person didn't enjoy their wedding day is a valid opinion.

No, there are many levels to sad, just as there are many levels to happy and angry.

There's a big fat continuum that lies between. "I didn't enjoy my wedding" and I am sad about it and "I am glad I didn't enjoy my wedding." And one of those in-between places is, "My wedding was OK, it got the job done, people seemed to enjoy it, but all in all, city hall would have worked just as well for me."
