Not all, no. More than enough to personalize the home. And more than enough to GUARANTEE that my home is different from every other home on the planet.

But, out of curiousity, I did a quick (incomplete) inventory.

4 photographs - not one of a kind, but taken by local photographers (friends), so not something many other people would have.

3 prints by local artists, produced in small quantities. again, not something many other people would have.

2 prints that are more along the lines of mass produced prints.

2 pieces of orginal artwork done by ME.

1 original piece done by my mom.

1 origina piece done by dh's grandmother.

another original piece done by some artits I don't know.

5-6 other framed pieces that are one-of-a-kind (including the aforementioned baptismal certificate of dh's grandfather)

IMO, a party is organized. With a start-end time, with planned activities. Having people over to socialize is well, just someone coming over to socialize.

ie. Sat night my ex-coworker was here. For about 5 hours. just hanging. We had dinner. drank some wine. Talked some politics. Talked some religion. He played some Wii. We watched the kids play wii. That wasn't a party.

A few weeks ago, my BFF and her dh came over. We had dinner. We drank some wine. We talked kids. The dhs talked trains. That wasn't a party.

I GUARANTEE that no one else can buy some of the stuff that's on my walls.

How can someone else have bought the same thing she did. There's only ONE of them.

Several pieces of artwork in my home, that are not photos of people, bring back some REALLY strong memories.

Oh, no. Not possible. Because you've reiterated over and over again that ONLY photos can make a hoem personal. There are not other personal things besides photos.

No, they could NOT have. ONE piece of that art exists. How can more than one home own ONE thing?
