LOL, you are nice. Now I feel better. Dd claims that I should just intuitively know how to do this.

The only thing that I was able to intuitively do with my cell phone is yell at it when I got frustrated.

You can't. That is one thing 16 year olds are very good for.

I only rarely take the step of asking the young 'un for help. The humiliation is more than I can bear. She did try to explain the iPod thing, but it devolved into eye rolls, lol. OTOH, she was kind enough to set my phone so that I could at least text in English.

Not reading replies yet (to many to do now)...

I know that at my church, the confirmation students have to do so many hours of community service as part of their confirmation, but I've never heard of it being done in a school - especially a public school (which is what I am assuming you are talking about).

I think it's actually a good idea.

Ehh, you're around enough of the young 'uns and you pick it up.

Besides, it's really not different on a message board than using dh, dd, or ds.

Looks like someone was in need of attention in high school so you find a way to get it on the internet. Whatever floats your boat. I never felt the need to point out the fault in others because I only have One judge.
