Why would I do research for the satisfaction of others. All that matters is me. You guys are the ones with the egos who expect me to provide information

Kids are still lazy and the fact that anyone would say otherwise, even with the evidence today,

1st-I don't want to "convince, persuade, or engage professionally" because this is not my board room. I am not getting paid and I could care less about what a bunch of strangers have to say about my choice of words.

2nd-I never said using proper English is foolish, I said if that's what someone thinks, it's their prerogative to think that way.

3rd-I've gotten an A or B in every English class I've ever taken, so when it counts, I know exactly how to speak and write. This is the internet and unlike you, I do not need to prove anything to anyone. Focus on something else that's important, like family.

I travel and I see lazy and selfish people everywhere, so therefore I'm surrounded by them not just in my area. How can I not be surrounded by these people if they are in the direct path of my travels?

Research on your own time.

My story has never changed. I not only see lazy and selfish people on a regular basis but I also am present during many conversations about people's day to day lives. How you say my story changed, I don't know. It was too different comments about two different situations.

Yup, we all have the right to say what we want.

Who said kids are not more educated than the past? I didn't. It's common sense, I mean look at the civil rights movement and that era-clearly certain kids were less educated back then than now.

Also, I don't click on links, especially from strangers.

Computers were not in "common use" in the 1960's. They were primarily used amongst rich people (small population) and educated people. They became more popular as the decades rolled around. Ask a person who is 65 if they used a computer in the 60's and if they say yes, then ask were they rich or educated-one will apply.
