Yeah, "friends" are happy for others and their experiences. They don't bring them up over and over again with sarcasm-shrug.

i think the parties are fun. love the food and drink, too. it's been awhile since i've been to one, the last thing i bought was a resin angel, that thing still sits on my mantel, love it!

Perhaps that accounts for the difference in opinions about these parties. There for a while, I had invites for every weekend, sometimes two or three in one weekend....candles, jewelry, cooking supplies, home decorating, wall words, passion parties, and more....I've even heard of them for office supplies (though I don't recall an invite for one, lol).

True. They usually come around a lot at one time and then die down. I just did a Tastefully Simple party a couple of months ago but have not been invited to any others until now. After awhile no one is interested. I wait every few years and do parties. We are all jeweleried out also-lol!!

I love them too. We had such a blast, good food, good drinks, good friends. Just an overall good night out. There were many inexpensive items also so you didn't have to spend a ton of money. Made a batch of cookies for the host (HOMEMADE-lol!!) too :)
