This whole story
i saw this story on dr.phil and was disgusted by it..this IS child abuse, the cold shower too, awful...but i think the woman has bigger problems than just trouble disciplining her kid because he had to move his card twice at school.
Abuse - no.
Bad parenting - yes.
She needs help - that is why she went on Dr. Phil.
Thanks for replying .. I do realize there are levels of abuse and that these are not extreme but putting a child in a cold shower or hot sauce in the mouth are beyond bad parenting in my view of good and bad parenting. To me bad parenting is not giving your child guidelines for behavior and rules for living or neglecting to prepare them for what lies ahead in the real world where mom or dad aren't around to bail them out.
It is was defenetly abuse in every way shape and form. , She did not drop hot sauce in his mouth she put a large amount in his mouth and forced him hold it in his mouth while she screamed in his face, the amount of hot sauce and the amount of time the hot sauce

"This child is a adopted child from russia, i hope and pray

Is yelling in the face abusive? Well it's not good parenting but abusive - go to jail for it. Hmmm!
I am sure there is a day
Do you mean - Wow that abusive.
Or do you mean that is abuse - the full and legal meaning of abuse. You
She's also a mother of 6--I don't see that fact reported much.
