1.  We've talked a lot about our favorite season's over the years, but what is your least favorite, and why?

2.  Summer time is camping season.  Do you camp?  What types of locations do you prefer?

3.  Is summer *your* big get away season, what types of *get aways* do you enjoy?

1.  The November portion of fall.  I hate November.

2.  I've have served my time for camping; if I camp anymore, bare minimum, I require one of those "tents" that are on a raised wooden platform with bunk beds in them.  Preferable to that either be a cabin with a wood burning stove or an RV with full electrical hookups.  But I *can* rough it; I don't need a satellite TV subscription.  ;P

3. Meh.  I prefer to travel in the winter (and get the heck out of the cold).  But I usually have at least two small trips.  The Lancaster County sewing machine geekfest trip in early June (which isn't *really* summer, but I count it as such anyway).  And the family reunion in late July/early August.  I like to take a whole week for that, but this year it's going to have to be a whirlwind venture.  Take off the Thursday and Friday before and drive out Thursday, picnic Saturday, drive home Monday.  I don't like making it such a short trip, but I've used a lot of vacation time this year.  In general, I like my summer time off to be of the staycation variety.

We've talked a lot about our favorite season's over the years, but what is your least favorite, and why?WINTER- cold, dark, ice dams, bad roads, everything seems ahrder

2.  Summer time is camping season.  Do you camp?  What types of locations do you prefer? I would rather stab myself in the head with a fork than go camping

3.  Is summer *your* big get away season, what types of *get aways* do you enjoy? we usually do lots of weekend getaways in summer to Maine or beaches, etc.. this summer though we are taking a trip to Hilton Head (yes south carolina in August.. LOL but hey it's a beach!) I think next year we'll get back to doing our 'big' trip in April though

Probably winter as I don't like being cold.

2.  Summer time is camping season.  Do you camp?  What types of locations do you prefer?

No and we were just talking about this. lol. I haven't been camping since girl scouts and I don't really like sitting around being dirty but our good friends asked about going with them and I actually said I MIGHT try it. lol.

3.  Is summer *your* big get away season, what types of *get aways* do you enjoy?

Not really as we have gotten away at all times of the year but this year we have chosen the summer. Someplace warm.

Winter, A white Christmas is one thing but after that I'm ready for Spring!  Why?  B/c I don't like the cold and I don't like having to layer up all the time.  No.  I am really flexible insofar as vacations, We have fun getting away.  There are the sites too!

1.  We've talked a lot about our favorite season's over the years, but what is your least favorite, and why?

Winter.  Because it's cold.

2.  Summer time is camping season.  Do you camp?  What types of locations do you prefer?

My only camping experience ever (which was also my most recent vacation) was at the beach about 10 years ago and involved 4 children between the ages of 4 and 12, and 5 inches of rain within a 2-hour period.  We ended up all sleeping in the van that night, completely soaking wet, putting everything into plastic bags and going home first thing the next morning.  Not something I wish to repeat, ever.

3.  Is summer *your* big get away season, what types of *get aways* do you enjoy?

I don't have a get away season.

1. I actually like summer the least. I don't like the heat.

2. We have a basic pop-up camper, I like camp if by camp you mean, parking the camper at the lake campground for a night so we can legally strike up a campfire and eating flaming marshmallows.

3. I like all of them. I look forward to all travel, even when it's just trade show stuff with dh for work.

1.  We've talked a lot about our favorite season's over the years, but what is your least favorite, and why?

Summer. Because it's 8 months long and hotter than Hades. The beginning of summer is OK; school's out, it's not unbearable yet, but it gets old. By the 4th of July most of us are over it.

2.  Summer time is camping season.  Do you camp?  What types of locations do you prefer?

Yes, we love to camp. We go to a place in the Keys that is right on the water, has all the facilities you could ask for, and is close--but not TOO close--to Key West. We also camp with DS' cub scout pack. But rarely in the heat of summer.

3.  Is summer *your* big get away season, what types of *get aways* do you enjoy?

We go as far north as possible! It's only "get-away" season because the kids are out of school and we have more flexibility to travel. We are close to many theme parks, but we don't go there in the summer. 99 degrees+95% humidity+no breeze+100,000 sweaty people from all walks of life=not my idea of fun. :)

"I can't relax. Kids and water and/or fire do not mix," ---------- Agree, going to the beach with dd used to be one of my absolutely least favorite chores.

"With small kids, the relax by the beach or pool kind of vacation is more enjoyable than" See, I do not find that enjoyable at all.... I can't relax. Kids and water and/or fire do not mix, lol....it's (only) one of the reasons that I hate camping.

1.  We've talked a lot about our favorite season's over the years, but what is your least favorite, and why? Winter.  I hate the cold and snow and dark.

2.  Summer time is camping season.  Do you camp?  What types of locations do you prefer?  No camping here. I'm a hotel-staying kind of girl.  Although I did see a blog post earlier this week of a family camping near a river-- it looked like a lot of fun.

3.  Is summer *your* big get away season, what types of *get aways* do you enjoy? Last year we went to the Outer Banks.  I like pretty much any vacation.  With small kids, the relax by the beach or pool kind of vacation is more enjoyable than the go to a ton of cool places (historic sites, big cities, etc.) kind of vacation for me.
