Yeah, the whole FICO score is a bit of a scam.
I have owned five cars in my lifetime, and only one time have I ever financed a car and that was when the dealership was offering 0.1% financing, which was "cheaper" than taking money out of our money market account to buy the car.
We have two Master Cards and two Discover Cards.

It isnt necessary to have a cc to maintain a good fico score.
