Why can’t you just use your credit card?

Cash can be seen and touched and kids get that, usually at an early age,

Basically that is the same thing but we just put a number in the budget for pocket money. I never want to walk around with no cash on me.

I could see that. I barely buy postage anymore. I did have my rebate for my washer that needed to go out the other day and my dh got a stamp and mailed it for me.

The time I buy the most postage is for Christmas cards. I always seem to buy too many though. Most years, I end up putting Christmas stamps on anything I mail through June or July or so. lol

I hate having no cash. I always have at least a few bucks. I don't put a number to my fun money ... but I know when I need to reign myself in. Like last month and the shoes/clothes thing.

lol!! Hey, a stamp is a stamp unless it goes up-ugghh!!-lol!!

I was just thinking of Christmas cards the other day. I started working up my card but so not ready to be sending them out even though I know I will have to do so in a few weeks. I think the postage stamps cost more than the actual cards do as I make my own and have them printed at Costco. I was going to get them done on our vacation this year but I would have had to buy another picture (at $20) that I skipped on but would have liked for a Christmas card and then the cards. Not even sure how much they were charging. I spent $15 more than I would normal on our Christmas cards on our cruise in 2008 but they were all done and I didn't have to worry about it.

Yeah. I had a boss that never had cash on him, even $1 for a lotto ticket.

At this point, I have a nice collection of 1 and 2 cent stamps. Thanks heavens for forever stamps.

The kids' school pictures were really good this year, so I'm using those. It means I need to buy some regular cards to put them in. I might have bought some on sale at the end of Christmas last year, but I have no idea which Christmas box I might have put them in, if I even did buy them.
