How do you define a "Sheltered" Life?

Thought I'd bring up this topic as some people think I have lived a "sheltered life" because I went from living in my parents home to getting married and not living on my own. I was curious of what everyone's definition of living a "sheltered life" is.

I would think the opposite, it's more real and less sheltered.

That's not what she said....leaving the military is pretty different than quitting the military.

If I remember correctly, my cousin who was a Marine (signed up before 9/11) wasn't allowed to leave the military even though his term was up, because of the gulf war,he had to serve extra time.
