Oh, I hope you feel better. Maybe it's just temporary from the caffeine. I can sympathize--I threw out my back yesterday helping dd move a desk up from the basement. The peril of not being as young as I used to be.... Merry Christmas!

Oh, I hope you're feeling more yourself by this evening! Merry Christmas, Merella!

Mine isn't starting off very well. Last night I suddenly felt nauseated and a bit dizzy. I rarely have caffeine but had a mocacchino earlier in the day while on our traditional trek to little Italy. I assumed maybe the caffeine (plus later a glass and a half of wine) just wasn't sitting well with me. I had a hard time falling asleep. I had committed to meeting friends for a run this morning and felt ok, so I went. About 30 minutes in, I suddenly felt sick and a little faint. I stopped and walked back to the car but was afraid to drive. Ended up people watching (lots of runners out this morning plus a group of guys dressed as Santa paddle boarding on the bay) until my friends returned. Thought maybe I'd feel better after eating something but still feel crappy. Dh told me to rest but I feel guilty b/c he's now making tiramisu for dessert tonight as well as manhattan clam chowder and a last batch of pumpkin chocolate chip bread. And I was supposed to make marinara sauce for dinner tonight. Ugh! I guess it's not too bad - Ithankfully I'm only hosting my parents for dinner tonight and aside from the sauce, I didn't have anything else to do. but I better not be getting sick. I'll be bummed if I have to miss Christmas tomorrow. Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you all have a blessed new year!

Being lazy this morning before tackling the last minute baking and letting the boy sleep in.

Well, there's 2 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon in the fridge, along with a bottle of Amarula.

This is going to be a tough day...have some cleaning chores to tackle, a shopping trip, a bit more wrapping, and a lot of cooking. We don't have a big meal tradition on Christmas Eve which is good because with Christmas Day being on a Sunday I am going to lose two hours of prep time tomorrow for Christmas dinner so will try to have eveything done including tables set, etc before I go to bed tonight.
