<<What is your ideal kitchen?   Ours is ideal enough.  It's a large, eat-in kitchen with an island for prep work, a baking center, a coffee making area, and a table and chairs, also a desk to pay bills and plan meals and stuff.  Room for two refrigerators. The laundry room is right off the kitchen, which I really like.  It could probably use some updating in terms of "style," and I don't have a fancy stove, but I can live with that.>>

I liked your kitchen, it's huge with tons of workspace.  I really loved all the natural light in the room and access to the deck.

<<What is your ideal kitchen -- Professional cookware - like a huge professional cooktop, a pot filler over the stove, concealed pantry, A vitamix, a pasta machine, a center island or bar where I could prep/cook and talk to guests.  Oh and a maid to clean it all up!>>

Sounds wonderful!

I think the one at the moment or in the planning stages, but thinking larger than that....I would like to spend a year traveling to different cities, renting a flat/house/condo for a month and then choosing another destination.  With my immediate family most of the time and friends/extended family at different times.

My ideal kitchen would be one with a hearth room, fireplace, island, kitchen table, subzero walk in frig, viking range, double ovens, a pantry with a green house attached.  I would never leave the place!

My ideal spouse looks remarkably like the one I have.  :)

What is your ideal trip or destination

I've already been to a few places, but ideally I'd like to visit Alaska or go back to Maine again (for the third time).  I couldn't live in Maine permanently, but I could have a house there, lol!  Just j/k.

What is your ideal kitchen

Well, since my cabinets are beige and "chocolate," and the granite's grey and beige...the ideal kitchen would be lots of white (cream?) wood cabinets with white granite w/grey and cranberry flecks.  And some really nice cream-colored stone or tile floors.

What does the ideal spouse/so look like

He looks like a model but talks and acts exactly like a wealthy entrepreneur. Wink

Apropos of nothing, but I thought it was funny.  One of my fb friends posted the following status recently:   "My favorite line from the movie Gravity, "I hate Space."  Space did not look like somewhere I would like to go.  Plus, it is full of our trash."

"That's some kitchen mops," ------- Yeah, but we are talking "ideal" not "actual." I always loved restaurant kitchens. I find two ovens very useful (don't have room in my current kitchen). I like to bake breads and cakes, especially for company, but also like oven-braised main dishes, lasagne and baked veggie dishes, so with one oven that can get challenging even if the company is not huge.

That's some kitchen mops, How cool. I seriously miss having a gas stovetop with a griddle on the side. Two ovens I could pass on but it was nice around the holidays.

What is your ideal trip or destination Rome, always. I have loved that place since I was a kid.

What is your ideal kitchen Large and with a Viking or other professional stove with 6 burners, built-in griddle and 2 ovens.

What does the ideal spouse/so look like Looks don't really enter into my ideals when it comes to a spouse. We all get old and wrinkled one day, if we are lucky anyway. As for men I consider attractive just looks-wise they span a huge range.

What is your ideal trip or destination?   Well, I would very much like to go into outer space, and still have dreams about it, but it's looking less likely that there will be affordable commercial opportunities before I am too old to go.  DH and I sit down every year and plan out an "ideal trip" for that year, and while there are many places I would like to go that we haven't been, this year's summer trip is on our minds.  We are going to visit the eastern provinces of Canada, coming into the country in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and driving through parts of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Labrador, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island.  Probably come home through New England with weekends in Boston and New York.

What is your ideal kitchen?   Ours is ideal enough.  It's a large, eat-in kitchen with an island for prep work, a baking center, a coffee making area, and a table and chairs, also a desk to pay bills and plan meals and stuff.  Room for two refrigerators. The laundry room is right off the kitchen, which I really like.  It could probably use some updating in terms of "style," and I don't have a fancy stove, but I can live with that.

What does the ideal spouse/so look like?   I think that probably differs with each couple.  I'm happy with mine for me.
