Hi, Jam.  What class did you read "Lean In" for?

1. What are you currently reading?

Besides my stuff for school? I usually read a Kindle freebie a week and assorted magazines. I just finished Jen Lancaster's latest. Love her--although her earlier stuff was funnier.

2. How often do you find time to read?

Every day.

3. Are you bi/tri-lingual?

Nope.

4. Have you ever been arrested?

Never.

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

I finished Sandberg's book, "Lean In" in two days last week.  I'm also reading two books for two different classes.  I know some Italian but I'm not fluent in it, Read my post to bea about ASL.  No.

All four of my grandparents were deaf and my parents were teachers of the deaf, my dad was a superintendent and I grew up living on the campus of the school he taught at and one of my grandparents lived with us .. it was sink or swim ;-)  ilearned to sign as I learned to talk..

  3. Not bilingual.  I read several languages other than English fairly fluently, but don't speak them easily.

I just fell out of my chair.  I thought you and Rollmops were in agreement life was not worth living unless I spoke a second language?  I tried to defend myself during that debate in that I speak/write Spanish fairly well.  But that was apparently not enough.  I lost sleep and now you say you are not bilingual?

1. What are you currently reading?  I just started The New Republic by Lionel Shriver.

2. How often do you find time to read?  I try to read at least a little bit everyday before bed.  I listen to books all the time when I'm walking or doing chores.  Between reading and listening (about 50/50) I enjoyed almost 100 books last year.

3. Are you bi/tri-lingual?  I speak/read/write passable German, although I'm way out of practice.

4. Have you ever been arrested?  Nope.

3. Are you bi/tri-lingual? I am fluent in sign language if that counts
