A HS friend, who I now keep tabs on via FB, recently moved to London for a year for work.
I would love a mud room too.
I have a mud room, too, but until I get the lock on the basement door fixed (it doesn't open with a key from the outside), you have to traipse through the upstairs, and go down there to leave muddy boots and shoes :)
