  • kids of stay-at-home moms
  • kids of working moms
  • no difference

Exactly, and a lag is not even a delay. IOW, whatever the observed difference, it is most likely sub-clinical.

As with most issues, a generalization simply can't be made here because so much depends on the individual parents and the individual children in question.

I do not believe they can tell the reason for an early childhood dev. delay even if they are older. But maybe I missed a study or info on that? Just curious.
