Kids and spouses gone all night, or even overnight, and you had no other obligations ...

What would you make/order/get/eat?

Well, Monday I had lemon shrimp over linquine.  Yesterday I had salmon.  Today I"m going to have greek chicken.  Or maybe lemon chicken (saves me from prepping this morning :D)

Basically, whatever you read in my weekly menu :)

I would probably go out to a restaurant that my family doesn't particularly care for, so I could enjoy the food without the complaints. I used to travel a lot for work, so I often would go to a restaurant and have a meal at the bar to chat with the other travelers.

It would all depend on the how hungry I was, what I had in the house, etc. Anything basically though.

Throw in some carrots to dip in that hummus and I'll join you. That is my kind of meal.

Oh, wait, this is dinner alone....

I am a widowed empty nester.  I am all alone for dinner seven days a week.

(Well, during the school year I pick up my grandson from school two days a week and take them dinner.)

My health and well-being depend on my eating well.  I cook stuff.  Fresh stuff.  Heavy on the vegetables and light on the meat.  I try new recipes, not having to worry if other family members will like it.

I almost always get Bread Co when I'm alone for dinner...or I eat cereal. ;)

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

Probably something like cheese & crackers or hummus.

Leftovers, sandwhich, cereal.... I hate cooking and I wouldn't bother if I were alone for the evening. :)
