As an advocate and student studying health + human services this scenario is sad and I'm glad child welfare is involved.  WDYT?  Is there a break down of the system, according to her, here or is this just somebody placing the blame on others?

It is even rude and inappropriate to be using private jokes and conversations that exclude others with whom you are conversing, even if it wasn't a rude insinuation.   How can you not know that?  Most people learn that growing up.

Sorry it upsets you that you can't figure out what it means. I didn't know that what we post here has to be to EVERYONE. I guess because I just started here Wink

So it's not, so then an attempt to insult, divert or attack?  All three aren't really appropriate, fyi.

They seem to both be totally irrelevant to the discussion, and silly...so why aren't they alike?

Oh, you know we went though a whole discussion of trying to figure out what the heck you three were talking about, and you just kept saying nope, nope, nope.  It was like trying to play a guessing game with a three year old.  It's rude, and inappropriate, and I have no idea why you haven't been taught better manners.

You just started posting here, and yet you share an ongoing inside joke with two of the members. Hmmm...that's not shady at all! Give up the ghost, we're all know it is you, Spice Girl.

Then you really don't know if she's mentally ill or on her meds or not - you're only assessing it by what it looks like to you garnetboy.  Could you do that with cancer or diabetes -  look at somebody and know they have the disease/illness? I don't know but your opinions get the pass here, Lol.  I have a MIL that is manipulative and spiteful. I really don't know if there's some problem underneath that contributes to the way she treats my family but you know what, she is my husband's mother so I tolerate her and I also believe she deserves some dignity.

What you freely admit is not about her it's about what she looks like to you.  Wouldn't it be interesting if we all stood back and judged people like that.

P.S.  And yes, you do have a child less than a decade old, You've shared that plenty of times.  Don't manipulate what I wrote.

Lol.  Hey, I like this screen name!  Can I just tell you it reminds me of what my silly teenager calls her friends, "wifey"!

And we're back to your serious reading comprehension issues.  Let me clarify since you clearly don't get it. I'm actually "assessing it" by the fact that she has a bi polar diagnosis. You know, from a doctor.  Multiple doctors, actually. Which has been confirmed by her late mother, her son (my husband) and her ex-husband (who was married to her at the time of diagnosis). And is confirmed by her meds, when she takes them. And her behavior when she doesn't take them. I'm not "guessing," Jambles. She has a bi polar dx.

Could I look at someone and guess they have diabetes or cancer? If I saw an insulin pump or a chemo port or, you know, lack of hair and excessive weight loss, that would be a pretty obvious sign of diabetes and cancer respectively, would it not? I mean generally speaking, if you've got an insulin pump, you've got diabetes...it isn't exactly rocket science to notice details like that.

I'm not manipulating anything. You're making untrue statements. And are quite snippy about getting called out on them...
