And some have more stressers than others. Added to the different ways people cope, there is no "one best way" to handle stress either. It also depends on the they way our parents handled stress.

things that stress me are not chalked up as life, general nor is it parenting.

Seriously?

I know that I was more of an "expert" on parenting before I became one and in my early years of parenting.

I would agree that how stressful life is, is a subjective question and everyone won't answer the same. People who are very organized, plan ahead well, do not procrastinate, are healthy, don't have a lot of changes in life or have wanted changes rather than unwanted changes, are generally satisfied with their situation in life, etc., and those who have good coping skills when under pressure, experience less stress than people who have all or some of those things going on.

Frankly, I'm more stressed while SAH than I was was WOH, but, there have also been a lot of other changes in the time I've been SAH that probably account for it.

lol...That pretty much describes me and my life, but, there are things that are out of your control, and can add stress to a life that otherwise is not stressful.

The part of what egd says, that I take issue with, is that life isn't full of stressors. It is, and we can't control that, but we can control how we let it affect us, and how we react to it.

I think the problem comes with anyone saying "Life is....." There's going to be someone who disagrees with it, because for someone, their life might not be that. A lot of stress comes in controlling how it affects us. Good coping skills, a certain outlook and attitude, planning and preparedness, having lots of positives that offset the negatives, can all lead to a less stressful life, one that might not be "full of" stress. When you get right down to it, stress is how we experience something and two people can be in the exact same situation and have a very different experience.

" People who are very organized, plan ahead well, do not procrastinate,..."

I don't know, sometimes they are the ones who are wound too tight. They plan and are very organized because they don't like unexpected things. At the outer edge, there are the control freaks. Sometimes it is the more laid back ones that are less stressed by life's ups and downs.

It is a mix all around.

I don't entirely disagree.
