Have you been fooled by food labels?

I got DD3 boyfriend a bread machine for Christmas. Have not tasted anything he has made yet, just seen pictures on face book.

I only liked yogurt "okay" until I discovered the 100 calorie vanilla greek yogurt that Yoplait makes. Nonfat, but no aspartame, has some sugar in it. I am also sure it has crack in it, because I have to have at least one carton a day. I cannot stop eating that stuff.
I WISH I liked yogurt..I can't stand the texture of it.. same goes for pudding... yech! I will occassionally use it in place of sour cream in a dip or a recipe but to just eat it? no thanks. my kid loves it though...
Before I became unable to eat anything good, I started buying Greek yogurt with sugar in it. I decided a while back that even with diabetes, it's probably better for me to eat that than the artifically sweetened stuff. That's when I found out that the Cat Whose Name Shall Not Be Mentioned loves pineapple Chobani. :)
When I cut out HFCS from our household I was straight-up flabbergasted at how prolific that stuff is. Condiments, pickles, bread, jellies, peanut butter, crackers. At one point I'd bought a box full of those individually-packaged small portions of almonds and read the ingredients one day out of boredom and realized they were coated with HFCS. I can't even figure out why, they weren't flavored or supposedly honey roasted or anything, just plain, roasted almonds.
I recently picked up a bottle of Hunt's ketchup, which became my go-to brand after I realized they were the only one without HFCS and guess what? It's now in the ingredients. I'm so disappointed because the only alternative that I can find is Heinz with reduced sugar, and dd (who thinks ketchup is a food group) thinks it tastes funny.
I think the most surprising thing I've found at the grocery store was sour cream with multiple ingredients. Daisy is the only major brand I found that's just sour cream.
I love Greek yogurt -- 2% or whole if I can get my hands on any -- and mix with berries or unsweetened almond butter/peanut butter. No sweetening necessary! I like Fage and the Trader Joe's store brand stuff.
My family really isn't big on cereal. I think we've gone through one box of Cheerios this year--and we have six people in the house. Actually, we're not really a household of breakfast eaters in general. The last time I tried to treat ds13 to a donut from his favorite bakery on the way to school, he handed it back to me when he hopped out of the car and asked me to save it for him for an afterschool snack.

This is how I feel about Nutella. One taste off the spoon and I'm willing to trade Sudafed on the street for another jar.
I've not tried subway's flat bread but I do all the veggies and all the dressings on the wheat loaf, There's a bbq sauce I turn down but that's probably it.
