That's funny you compare a subway smelll to pg nausea, I had terrible nausea with my first and there were only a couple things I could stomach, subway was one of them but I had to pass a mcdonalds and another fast food place to get there which were the smells I couldn't handle, Lol. I don't think I've ever eaten subway meat tho.

So funny! With my first I could only eat Burger King (which normally disgusts me) and Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. I would eat a giant salad with both of them just to make myself feel better about the crap I was putting in my body. So, is it a coincidence that my son loves junk food (and why then does he hate salad)? And with my 2nd, no nausea at all and I craved healthy foods. Raw veggies, fruits, grilled chicken, etc. Hated junk food (still do) and so does my daughter. :)

Shaking my head at the things grown women get their panties in a wad about.

I remember when  Fruitloops was  labeled candy in this country.  And I also remembered how shocked I was that the frosties was  way sweeter outside my country, back in the day they did a low sugared version for the Swedish market.

We dont have so much preservatives in  Swedish made food due to laws from the eighties but well we get swamped by cheep  food full for colourings and preservatives.  So I read labels, I am intolerant to  too much colouring and preservatives and well subway is one of the few places that doesnt give me hives, if I avoid the dressings and cheese. So subaway is most often my monthly treat unless I go for a pizza.

I have definitely smelled the Subway smell, but I can tolerate it in the stand-alone subways. In the ones contained within another building or shopping center, I cannot even walk near it. I have no idea why. Yeast and poor ventilation?

My Sams Club sells Heinz organic ketchup that does not hav eHFCS.  I have never seen it in our regular grocery stores so I try to always have a spare in the pantry.  Not that we use ketchup often, but I will be totally bummed if they stop carrying it since I can't find it anywhere else.  I'm also a ketchup snob - I only like heinz.  Other brands taste funny to me. Too sweet or something.

Lunch meat grosses me out!  Ever since Iworked in an Italian restaurant in high school where I sometimes had to slice the meat for subs.  The slime and smell when opening a vacuum packed slab of meat was just disgusting.  The only sandwiches I eat are either veggie or with fresh roasted turkey breast.  Subway and the like I can't handle!

Only smelled in the Uk, never in Sweden. How ever I dont eat at subway in the UK, that is minging.  I do have a friend who has worked in Subway  USA, UK an Sweden and she says that the standards are higher here and cleaner.

I dont know, all I know it  doesnt smell off or the veggies are soggy when I eat it here.

You know, This reminds me of when we used fruit loops to thread necklaces in school, That's the only time I saw them and we ate them like candy.  Now, froot loops is a cereal a/w apple jacks and other sugary kinds.

Lunch meat is a major staple for my kids lunches but I pay premium for the deli meat! My uncle owned his own Italian market, I grew up eating lunch meats like salami, capicora.
