That was one long day today. Lol

1. Do you have central air or wall/window units?

2. What was your first job? Do you remember how much you made per hour or week or year?

3. Do you wear flip flops? Do you plan to stock up at Old Navy's $1 sale this weekend?

2 wall units. One in the living room (used to be in the dining room before we gutted the kitchen/dining room and put a window in the wall where it use to be) going into the garage and in our bedroom.

2. What was your first job? Do you remember how much you made per hour or week or year?

At a record store in a local mall. I was 17 years old. $3.50/hour. That was the rate for part time. My dh was making $4.00/hour for full time,

3. Do you wear flip flops? Do you plan to stock up at Old Navy's $1 sale this weekend?

Yes. Yes but probably just for the kids as I have plenty.

1.  Central Air.  I replaced the old central AC unit last summer when it was found to have a coolant leak.

2.  Toss up.  I have a regular Saturday babysitting gig that paid $25 from 7a until around 2pm (usually, tho Mrs. P got home at 1:30(ish) while the boys napped).  I also worked at A&W at the mall--$2.13/hr plus tips.    Once I moved into the kitchen (which I much preferred), the rate went to $2.75/hr.  No tips but I enjoyed cooking.

3. Yes.  I never shop at Old Navy.  (I have no bias for or against them; I just never go there)

Central

2. What was your first job? Do you remember how much you made per hour or week or year?

My first job was for a surgical practice, preparing medical records for microfilm.  That sounds so weird now.LOL  I think it was about $3 per hour.

3. Do you wear flip flops? Do you plan to stock up at Old Navy's $1 sale this weekend?

Sometimes.  I'll buy a pair every once in a while if I see one that's really adorable.  Old Navy's are a little too narrow for me, usually.

No surprise about your air unit, We didn't have central air either and very few in the NY area we lived do.

1. Central. 2. Babysitting full time one summer for a little girl who was fifteen months old when I started. Ten dollars a week. The parents had bern paying fifteen a week at the daycare, so I was a bargain. That was 1968. 3. Not really, and no.

Cenral air.  I remember a few jobs as a kid, the italian market, the ice cream store and a department store I used to carpool with a neighbor to, I don't remember the order of these, but I do think minimum wage is about what I earned, $4-something an hour.  I don't but thanks for the tip, 1.00 a pair is cheap.

ETA to correct minimum wage, in the early 1980s minimum wage fell b/w 2.90 and 3-ish an hour so my figure is a little too generous there, Lol.

1. Do you have central air or wall/window units? -- We have dual-zone central AC.   Central AC is a must in Oklahoma, unless you live in a small apartment or something.

2. What was your first job? Do you remember how much you made per hour or week or year? -- Working at my parents' theatre.  Minimum wage.

3. Do you wear flip flops? Do you plan to stock up at Old Navy's $1 sale this weekend? -- Yes, but not often. No. The ON $1 fip flops have to be some of the least comfortable shoes on the planet.
