As much as I love my routine, getting into a new one can be rough!

1.  Has the new school year started for you and your family?  When?

2.  Have you gotten into the groove of the new year yet?

3.  Are you starting anything brand new this fall, that you haven't done in the years past?

Yes, school started August 19th here

2.  Have you gotten into the groove of the new year yet?

Yep, it's easier this year because both kids are in the same school.

3.  Are you starting anything brand new this fall, that you haven't done in the years past?

Probably going to sign DD up for some kind of dance class. DS is in Cub Scouts. Plus we are moving into a bigger house so there will be more to decorate (and clean! Xp).

Has the new school year started for you and your family?  When? This week- Wednesday was the first day - High School! (for the girl not me LOL)

2.  Have you gotten into the groove of the new year yet? I think it will take a few weeks yet as dance starts up next week and that's where the rubber really hits the road. Plus we have confirmation classes for the girl this fall so some xtra things to fit in.   Right now adjusting to the fact her bus takes over a half hour to get her home b/c of the route which makes getting to her dance classes hard.. her friends mom has offered to drive her home frmo school two days a week to help out with this - she actually offered to drive her every day but I don't want to impose that much.

3.  Are you starting anything brand new this fall, that you haven't done in the years past? As far as routine?  no... my wife's work schedule shifted slightly so she goes in a bit later so for the first time the three of us are all trying to get ready at the same time -- that? is an adventure.   LOL

No change of routine for me.

DD2 is the only one directly affected by back to school. She has been back about a month.  She changed schools so put in a lot of time setting up her new classroom.  I think her kids started last Wed.  The local school district started last Monday.

For me back to work means being swamped at work, more traffic in the morning and having to keep a better eye out for kids.

Wow, that's early.  If I had a nice friend driving, I'd sleep in too!

Yeah, last year since they had to use another school, practice was 6-8am. This year it is 7-9am.

Mine started school just over a week ago and quickly got into the groove.  After camps were done and the weather got a little cooler, they were just bored and ready for school.  I'm in the groove, I guess.  New this fall is driving our neighbors home after the same sports practice older DD has.  I'm hoping that ends with the season!  I've seen carpooling become habit forming for some.

1.  We're in our third week of school now.  So far I am enjoying being back in the classroom, which is a good thing, since I'm doing an overload this semester.

2.  I think we're in as much of a routine as we will ever be.

3.  Nothing brand new, at least yet.

1.  Has the new school year started for you and your family?  When?

Yes, a couple of weeks ago.

2.  Have you gotten into the groove of the new year yet?

No, not yet.  I need to get into a groove soon.

3.  Are you starting anything brand new this fall, that you haven't done in the years past?

Working on letting go for me with my oldest.  New grades for the kids of course, but same school and the kids are in the same sports this fall, so not much new there.  I'm not driving near as much since the kid drives and has a car, so that is new for me.

1.  Yep, this week

2.  No.  My generally independent children seem to be needing a lot of direction.  Hoping it works itself out before the end of next week.

3.  Nothing specifically new for me, at this time, but maybe in the next month or two.  The kid have lots of changes this year, which does have an effect on my time and schedule, so we'll see how it all works out.
