Both died yesterday... I don't know why I'm so sad about this, but John Ritter? I guess because he seemed so young. He was only 54.

I posted below about how upset I was about Johnny Cash. I have always had this obession with him and I love his music.

It was so sad about John Ritter-he was so young. He is younger than my parents.

I heard that. I don't know why I'm so sad about John either . . . probably b/c it was so sudden and unexpected. I knew Johnny Cash was sick, but John Ritter? That's just random.

I was *just* reading about John Ritter's death. I also felt very sad -- partly because he was so young but also because I "grew up" with "Three's company."

I was pretty shocked about John Ritter. I wondered why Johnny Cash would pass. I am sad about it too.

I am so incredibly upset at the loss of John Ritter. To be honest, I don't know anything about Johnny Cash, other than he sang country music (right?). But John Ritter? Gawd...he was sooo young! The same age as my mom when she died almost 2 years ago. And soooo unexpectedly! And I believe he has a LITTLE girl...like 5 years old! HE was only 54!!!! Unbelievable!

The John Ritter thing hit me, too. And ITA w/the others, I think it is b/c he was so young (younger than my parents) and has a young daughter w/his second wife. Sad, sad, sad. And in addition to 8 Simple Rules, he was also the voice of Clifford the Big Red Dog, so that sucks. I hate recasts.

I so think Johnny Cash died of a broken heart. He lost his will to live after June died, period.

Sept. 11 is just an ugly, ugly day.

I grew up on Johnny Cash. My dad and I are huge fans of his. I am absolutely heartbroken at the news of his death. As with John Ritter. It's so sad because it was so unexpected. The world has lost two extremely talented and irreplaceable souls.

broke my heart to hear john ritter died. hes got to be one of the funniest men ive seen on sitcoms. i just looooved three's company growing up, and really havent watched the new one, but i will now....isnt that the pits.

ive never been a johnny cash fan at all, and although it is sad when one dies, hes had medical problems lately so it wasnt really a surprise. sad none the less.
