It's called a chore list as in:

Child: I'm BORED!!! May I watch TV?

Parent: You're bored? Great! The bathroom needs a good scrub--especially the toilet--it's disgusting! I think you're going to have to scrub it by hand this time. Be sure to clean the mirror. Shouldn't take you longer than 2 hours, tops!

Child: Er, did I say I was bored? Never mind, I just thought of something to do.

Parent: *beams*

i had to think about this,in the morning before school if there's any program on its' the today show.

That works! My mom used to find things for us to do during summer holidays when we'd say 'I'm bored' and I used the same tactic when my kids were at home.

Pre-school is a great age isn't it? We have two little grankids and I love their ages 3 1/2 and 6 months. We're watching kids' shows now that we didn't seem to have time for when our kids were that age, sadly it goes too quick..
