1. When it is humid, does your hair go flat or frizz up?

2. Coke or Pepsi?

3. What color shoes would you wear with a little black dress to a wedding? (I have an idea of what I am going to wear but looking for more suggestions)

No. Look at people like Ivanka Trump, Zara Phillips, Patrick Kennedy's wife, Kate Miidleton - people who can afford anything in the world, and you will see many 1%ers who have moved away from the mass market strapless style, beginning around 2010/2011. A lot of designer collections this year also moved away from the strapless look. It's on it's way out. In three years or so, it will seem dated.

the problem I have with most wedding gowns these days is they all look the same... my dd and I watch say yes to the dress too and 90% of the time they pick the same strapless dress that the rest of the world wears...

I mean they're all pretty brides but it's all so dull

You follow more Hollywood than you like to admit bord. I'm going to go google Ivanka Trump's dress... FWIW I absolutely loved the simplicity in JFK Jr's bride many years ago, Some found it hideous but I think that's one of those gowns that someone can pull off well if you've got the body for it too.

"I am almost positive that the wedding we are attending this summer is going to be black and white. " Then why are you planning on wearing a black dress? Are you part of the wedding party?

True but they are have designers to make their dresses. The average person goes to the mass market places and while they do have a few things like what they are wearing, it seems brides are still going for the strapless look. Maybe it will go away in a few years but don't think that will be for awhile.

Were the brides older at the weddings you went to that didn't wear strapless dresses?

Yes, on that show it seems like they show all the same dresses. I guess they are showing the most popular ones that brides pick.

I don't follow Hollywood really, but I love looking at designer collections when they come out and then seeing how their looks trickle down to mass market.

Because it is always a simple and classy choice. I will accessorize with color.

Should I not wear purple or red or blue or green, etc. if the wedding party were wearing that too?

Are you part of the wedding party?

Nope, why?

" A lot of designer collections this year also moved away from the strapless look. It's on it's way out. In three years or so, it will seem dated." ---------- Bord, agreed. I also think that Kate's sister's dress made a big impact, style-wise. I have seen loads of knock-offs of that style as wedding gowns, party gowns etc. The thing with strapless is that you really can't have even a half inch of loose anything anywhere near the upper edge of that dress. You may think it looks OK from the front, when you check the mirror, but it really doesn't look so hot from virtually any other angle. So you need to be young, thin and firm.

Spring, by the way, what do you plan to do bra-wise if you are going to wear spaghetti straps?
