1. When it is humid, does your hair go flat or frizz up?

2. Coke or Pepsi?

3. What color shoes would you wear with a little black dress to a wedding? (I have an idea of what I am going to wear but looking for more suggestions)

"The only time I have ever seen anyone wear a bridesmaid dress that was NOT in a wedding ....." Well, since I (and others) were clearly NOT talking about wearing bridesmaids dresses, I am not sure of what your point is.

You were speaking about wearing the same color dress as the bridal party would. If the dress does not look anything like a bridesmaid dress, what is the problem?

I'm another who doesn't get into the wedding thing. It doesn't matter to me that others enjoy it. Celebrating the marriage is totally different from attending the wedding. I have to be VERY close to someone to feel right attending something as personal as their wedding.

Ouch? Seriously? What's it to you? I liked the dress and I wore it. The color meant nothing.

It means NOTHING to me. I have NO problem with ANYONE wearing black to a wedding. Go back and re-read about Bord and her dh's comments on wearing black.

Oops, sorry..just finally got that. I don't know...in retrospect, my wedding was not representative of my best ideas, but now that it's 20+ years later and I realize it's probably the only one I'll ever have, I'm starting to be OK with it. Not having to deal with an ex makes the divorce situation much better. :)

You follow more Hollywood than you like to admit bord. I'm going to go google Ivanka Trump's dress... FWIW I absolutely loved the simplicity in JFK Jr's bride many years ago, Some found it hideous but I think that's one of those gowns that someone can pull off well if you've got the body for it too.

Fashion trends aren't set in Hollywood.

I can't agree with that as I think many people are closer to the couple's parents then themselves (just like Bord has said about her being invited to colleagues children's weddings). I had co-workers of my parents at my wedding but I DID know them throughout the years.
