i wouldn't say anything about it unless the hotel charges you with damages. your luck if u informed them about the way they acted, sounds like they would go and take it up w/the hotel themselves, and if the hotel didn't find anything to offensive, things are best left unsaid.

i've learned never offer information. causes less stres later.

however, i would not get them a room next time. i would say "i was strapped for cash" or i would think of something good to say.

i can't think of much right now as i just woke up and my brain hasn't made it into the study yet.

however; what does your DH think of all this! he is where the line needs to be drawn!

good luck, lilly

I agree, I wouldn't book them a hotel room again, either. If I were okmrsmommy, though, wouldn't tell them I was strapped for cash. I'd just tell them that since they couldn't seem to appreciate my kindness and behave themselves the last time, they'd have to take care of things themselves next time.

I'm sorry about all this...I thought my ex-MIL was kinda weird until I read this. Little did I know, the woman is an angel. ;-)

I would pay it, then send the itemized listing to the in-laws and require them to pay me back.

Your in-laws sound like lunatics.

I'd have as little to do with them as possible, and chalk the whole hotel room fiasco up to a very expensive lesson.

Guess that's the last time you try to do them a favor, huh?
