I don't particularly like to fly because of all the airport/security/lines/crowds; I do appreciate getting from one place to the other fairly quickly.  I think thr last time I flew was about a year ago when I took my son to an event in Arizona.  My mother worked for an airline when I was growing up so we did a lot of flying then. The family story is that I took my first plane ride at the age of six weeks.

I'd rather drive, No, but sometimes it can't be helped.  Good question, Maybe home from Texas when my uncle died, My DS was 3 or 4 at the time and I brought him with me which makes that 8 years ago already.  After graduating from college I flew to NYC with my mom for an interview there (with Conde Nast publishing), Hindsight is your friend and I often wonder where I'd be if I would have gone after that, Lol.  (I am pretty sure that was my first experience with flying anywhere).

1.  Do you like to fly? Not really. I am not scared, but I prefer a train where I can see where I am going. I also find planes horribly cramped.

2. Last place/time you flew? Tuesday from CPH through Paris.

3. How old were you the first time you flew I must have been 2, but close to 3, because my brother was still a small baby. We flew to Stockholm.

1.  Do you like to fly? -- I wouldn't say I *enjoy* it, but I don't dislike it.  And it's my preferred method of travel. I'd much much rather fly than drive. (says the woman who drove 8 hours to my conference on Friday and will drive 8 hours back tomorrow)

2. Last place/time you flew? -- I guess that would be DC last August.

3. How old were you the first time you flew -- 17.  We flew from OKC to KC for cheerleading national competition.

1.  Love it.  Love. It.

2.  Um....last summer.  Scored semi-decent fares out to IL into Peoria (which is only about 30 minutes from the folks--MUCH closer than Chicago).

3.  12.  The first time I flew was when we moved to Germany.

Oh, I should mention, that while I do really like jumbo jets, my preferred craft are small.  The smaller the better.  I love plane with about 20 rows of 1x 2 or 2x2 seating.

"Oh, I should mention, that while I do really like jumbo jets, my preferred craft are small. The smaller the better. I love plane with about 20 rows of 1x 2 or 2x2 seating." ----------- Same here. We flew one like that back from Serbia once with the national Serbian basketball team. Keep in mind that the Serbs are, on average, the tallest people in Europe. The cabin crew had to move everyone around, because the basketball guys could not fit under the curve of the cabin in the window seats. It was quite comical watching them trying to fit all these huge people into a sardine can.
